Artists
We have a relatively small group of figurative artists whose work we regularly show and with whom we enjoy close and often long standing relationships.
Our inaugural exhibition was a solo by Richard Adams whom we have championed since 1991 when he had his very first exhibition at Hybrid in Columbia Road in Hackney, London. Our relationship with Rachel Ross dates too from this era, her beautiful paintings of cutlery and collectables are now highly sought after.
On re-locating to Honiton we began to show the work of artists from the South West; Irene Jones has had phenomenal success with her fictional portraits, Mark Rochester's vertiginous seascapes too are eagerly awaited as is the sculpture of Dean Patman.
However our criteria for artists to exhibit is not historically or geographically constrained; we select work of quality and integrity which we admire and are enthusiastic about. Constantly looking out for new artists we enjoy our role encouraging their development and finding their audience.
