Serena spent her childhood travelling and sailing around the world, a broad education which she finished at Falmouth College of Arts. Maybe as a result of this upbringing she has a minimalist approach to life, which reflects in her painting.

Serena has recently embarked on a new body of work inspired by postcards sent from travels. Mountainous landscapes are the subject yet her paintings embrace the passage of time, nostalgia and a wistful look at other lands.

Serena lives in Bristol, painting from studios within the Jamaica Street Artists collective and shows in Cambridge, London and the West Country.
