Reece Ingram
Reece Ingram sculpts in differing scales and media, in all his work he is interested in the mass, weight and tactile nature of objects. Working in clay allows him to express the form in a very immediate way, being quick to model and follow ideas through. It enables him to set aside some preciousness associated with his work carving in stone and wood.
Reece studied Sculpture at Brighton and Wimbledon and has been commissioned to make site specific works for towns and parks; notably the Princess Diana Memorial Playground in London, Grizedale Forest and the Eden Project. He lives in Truro where he teaches ceramics at the college.
