Anna Harley’s work is rooted within the Landscape tradition, the fabric textures in her prints are an echo of an Arts and Crafts background and nomadic childhood.

Anna uses a combination of drawing, digital photography and objects directly exposed on the screen, to create the individual layers in her prints, enjoying the tension these different sources create in the finished work. Printmaking is a process led way of working and by allowing the unexpected to happen and embracing the serendipity each print is kept fresh and exciting.

Anna has a Masters Degree in Printmaking from University of the West of England, specialising in screenprint. She lives in Bristol and has exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and The Mall Gallery in London, The Victoria Art Gallery in Bath and Spike Island in Bristol.
