Jo creates her sculptures of pollen grains from her studio near Honiton in Devon and exhibits in the South West of England.

Choosing mainly native wild flowers and plants she uses technical, photographical reference to magnify the forms of the pollen grains up to 17,000 times allowing the naked eye to enjoy these masterpieces of nature.

The sculptures are built by piecing together several forms cast in limestone compound, made from Jo's original sculpture moulds, each is hand formed and individual.

The final intricate sculptures of our common flora are suitable for positioning indoors or outdoors, they are frostproof, and make a particularly fitting addition to the garden. A recent commission saw the pollen of favourite flowers used to surmount pillars.

Individual pollen sculptures can be made to commission at different sizes/prices.

Jo's work will be on show in the gallery and garden in 2018.
