Ann works with various different media to create her pieces; wood, glass and metals in addition to composite found objects. The behaviour of the materials themselves and their reactions to the extreme heat of the kiln or flame can often demand that she reconsiders her design intentions. She describes the process of hand making as illuminating and informative.

Our current collection of spoons uses vintage kitchen utensils, driftwood and antique implements for handles and enamelled copper for the bowls and scoops. Each piece is unique and a small work of art.
