The series of works this autumn sees Richard Adams in a mellow mood; dwelling on the fruits of the sea, the harvest from the soil and riches from the work of bees. Accompanied by fairies both audacious and benevolent his earthly gardeners, farmers and fisher folk deliver the abundance. In this pervading air of tolerance Adams invites us to share the unhurried enjoyment of simple pleasures be they food, music or blowing bubbles into the breeze, to delight with the shepherd on the next day ahead.
He is joined by Joe Lawrence whose sculptures of seafaring folk bring the smell of the salt air into the gallery
