Annie studied printed textile design at Middlesex Polytechnic in the early 1980’s. She went on to design and hand paint her own bone china tableware sold in Liberty, Harrods and Thomas Goode in London, also in New York and Tokyo.

Recently Annie has returned to painting, the root of all her design work. She concentrates on painting still lifes in oil. She likes to paint simple objects, simply placed. Light and reflection and the textures of the negative space interest her and her confident strokes capture the essence of the subject to create compositions with a quiet stillness.
